Pretty weird combination

There is a song that I heard pretty often on the radio lately and what is interesting about it is that the name of the singer (Willy William) seems to be an American name, the lyrics seem to be French and the distributor (RotonMusicTV) is a Romanian entity. Now is this weird or not? How did this come to be? On another note, have you ever heard this song? I will post a link to it at the end of my post. Do you also know a few examples of weird combinations?

He is a French- Jamaican Dj and resides in France. WIlly William is most likely a name he made up for himself to appeal to an international fan base. William (without the s added) is not typically used as a surname in America. That is interesting how he got hooked up with a Romanian company though.
