Bleeding Hearts Are In Full Force This Week

I am very happy to see my bleeding hearts blooming in full force this week. I have quite a few of them, both red and the white kind also. Just went to see them again in the yard and it was a pleasure to my eyes. Another thing that is starting to bloom here is the lilac and the lily of the valley. Both have wonderful fragrance. Also did my 30 minutes walking session indoor this morning while listening to "The Village People" CD. Soon, will have to do a bit of vacuuming, not my favorite thing to do on a fine day like today.

The lilacs in both of my neighbours yards are coming into bloom too, such a sweet fragrance in the air. We used to have 2 huge lilac bushes, but we had to pull them out as they attracted the bees and our son was so afraid of them.

They do look nice... i'm glad you enjoyed your time in thd garden..and your indoor walk... I had a quick 30 minuter, straight down the country lane and back..no photos ..just walking...trying to beat the rain clouds looming over head...lol's

I have bleeding hearts too. For years I tried to grow this plant without success. Obviously I must have chosen the wrong situation. Third time lucky and it has been going strong for several years now!
