Another boring weekend

I finally had a chance to talk to my doctor or at least get an appointment with the doctor for Tuesday for what I'm sure is a ruptured cyst. It's the only thing that seems to make sense. So I'm sitting around trying to be productive online so I don't hurt anymore. It's not the most exciting weekend. Talking about taking chances, today I decided to take a leap of faith and post that I was looking for work on Craigslist, I'm afraid of some of the weirdos that like to contact people, so I'm a little afraid, but I went through jobs section to hopefully find something. The one person that messaged me wanted me to send money and receive it people or something. I don't know if I trust that. My only issue is I'm 29, and I never had a job, and have zero experience. It's just that I've been on social security for awhile, and now I'm under investigation and sent to see one of their doctors for all of whatever it may be and I need something to fall back on even though I'm starting school in a few weeks, or so I hope, I just have a family to take care of, and wasn't expecting to jump through so many hoops. So everyone else's weekend going good?

Good for you in searching for a job. Craigslist might not be the best choice in looking for jobs; I have heard of al ot of scams on there. or they do not tell you exactly what type of job it is you are applyinhg for. What about using a job search site specifically designed for jobs - like indeed.com, snagajob.com or monster.com? Certainly is worth a shot, and the jobs listed seem much more legitiamte than what is posted on Craigslist. Best of luck and let us know how the job search goes!

I agree. I wouldn't use craigslist for a job search. Too many scammers out there.

My weekend was good, though I came down with a stomach bug immediately afterward. ;p I haven't worked in a while either (a full time job) but maybe you can find an on line type of business you're good at? Or sell something on ebay?

I've been doing that lately, not much help though.

I wouldn't think that a ruptured cyst would still be causing you so much pain. I thought that was temporary pain. Then again, I'm not a doctor so I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

I have no clue. I was told cysts shouldn't be causing this much pain either. So I'm not sure what's going on.
