I think we made the right choice

Today is my nephews birthday ans we were going to go to his party today but several things came up where we decided not to go. One we need to get this power washing done, that didn't happen today because it rained all day. Two husband antibodics make him feel really sick and a 3 hour drive for a party when he isn't feeling 100% and I didn't want to go driving 3 hours there ans another 3 hours back on my own with three kids. Then my middle child has a weak immune system till Mid June because of having peumonia a two weeks ago and my nephews had a stomach bug (his moms says its food poisoning but from what we heard Thursday it wasn't that). I can go more into that if you want but we where being cautious and not wanting one nor three sick kids.

I think you made the right decision because, by going to the party, you would have wasted 6 hours on the road. With the amount of time, you could already accomplish many tasks, some of which you mentioned.

Oh yes if the weather wasn't rainy all day we could have done the power wash. We at least got a huge cleaning done inside the house and the kids got to stay home and play. I'll be happy knowing none of them will get anything from not seeing there cousin this weekend. We already missed another cousins birthday because we where all sick better safe then sorry.

@sunrisefan yep, even the family I work for as a babysitter agreed with me. I texted the mom and I was telling her we stayed home this weekend because of my nephew possibly Bing sick and the story changed froma stomach bug and Doctor give antibodics to food poison.
