A Bad Review of MyLot????

I've said this about other writing sites before and now I'm confirming it. On another site that I am writing on there was a writer that is saying how they was "abused" by another writer and the administrator here. This person goes on and on about how bad they were treated here and does NOT recommend anyone to come here. So of course I viewed my opinion on this site!!
Now, I've known this writer from other sites and this person is always complaining about how a site they were on "ripped them off" or how badly they got treated!! In fact to give you more background on this person's character they posted on one of my on-line friends cussing them out on FaceBook. My on-line friend makes a decent living with different sites, because she is dedicated to those sites. This other person was ranting and using foul language about my friend NOT giving them a list of all the sites my friend was on to make ALL that money.
So, from my experience people like the one that I mentioned above,that is always complaining about all these sites is still making money on different sites just on their "bad" experiences.
Have you been "abused" here at myLot? Has the staff never listened to your complaints? I know I haven't had any problems here but then again I don't cause DRAMA either!!

I have never had any problem with mylot. The site is friendly and mylotters are sometimes as close as family. Some people complain for everything. And other complain so that they will have more answers.

I agree with you @marguicha!!! This is my home away from home!! I think it is sad that a person has to spread "rumors" around about a site just to make money. I informed them though that I have NEVER had any problems with myLot, if you show respect, you'll get respect in return!!

Anything I have brought to the Admin's attention here has been addressed, pretty fast too I might add! I wouldn't be here if I was abused in some way. Lol.
I love MyLot and I don't have anything bad to say about the site.

Yeah, @LovingMyBabies this person has been on different sites and as far as I know, they never say anything NICE about any site, must have personal

Yes, I agree with you, but some non members might take this as "good advice" and think mylot is bad, then rumors will just keep spreading around. I guess mylot lovers would like to defend this good site, and hence @STOUTjodee brought this up.

I don't think anyone should write a review of a site using second hand information. It should include things that you personally experienced.

Hi JoDee, nice to see you here. I was quite upset with that post as well, but I really do not want to get involved, as I have heard about that person from another site as well and it seemed like I was being "attacked" by that person too. It seems like some people just like to keep causing problems on every site, but I really do not know what the intention is. 
Of course, I also wrote my positive feedback about mylot, as I really never have any problems with mylot members and admin so far, in more than 10 years being here.
In fact, I treat mylot as my "online home", even though I am still working on other writing sites, this is a place where I find really comfortable and relax. I don't really need to think too much but just enjoy myself here.

Some people just love to be heard. Doesn't matter about what or if it is true. I think your friend did the right thing by not giving her a list of the sites she is on. I have been on My lot for nearly eight years and the admin. has always been very good about taking care of any situations that come up. I have never been abused on this site. How dare someone make negative remarks about such a good site. Sad that this person hasn't got anything better to do with her time.

Yeah, according to my friend, this person was complaining that my friend was a "liar" and that she couldn't make that much money on-line!!

I just found the post you are talking about. I also just replied with my experiences here on MyLot and how I haven't had any of the negative experiences this person is talking about having on here...especially as a female. It sounds like this person may have been posting links that weren't allowed and got bent out of shape when their account was blocked for doing so.

I agree with you @Lolaze, they probably didn't follow the rules and is bent all out of shape and they have nothing better to do with their time than to say how bad a site is just because they didn't follow the rules. But I find it offensive when this person was cussing out my friend on FaceBook for the whole world to see just how rude they can be!!

I have been a little miffed a couple of times. I have never seen much abuse here except once. someone picking on another person because their typing skills were a little off. I have never had a problem here. If you tell us the review site she used, I will write a good review on the same site.

Oh, this person is on a lot of different sites always complaining. It makes me mad though when this person is "abusive" to people I know, yet "claims" sites are abusive to them!!

I've only been here for a few days, but I can't imagine someone treating me poorly on this website. Everyone seems so friendly and welcoming. This website seems to be moderated well and I really don't see any issues. It's surprising to me that someone would claim to have had a bad experience.

A million years ago, in a myLot far away, ONE user or group got on my case, and at that time I was too shy to speak up. I made them mad when they listed several sites as being full of scammers and I disagreed, saying each person needs to be taken on personal merit.If it were today, their views would have gotten them dropped here. I think some people will always gripe, and as you said, earn from their gripes. I like it here, though.

Woot woot, can I join? I am not aware of what is happening in the world until you share this to me. I also smell fried chicken, so who is cooking?
I have been a member of Mylot year 2006 and I met a lot of friends here. During my time, I have friends and there are trolls. The only issues I have before was the bully of the site, but that was before, I have no issue at present as I am not working in here, I only drop by. I am not aware of the post of the other site too because there is no research bar there. Good thing Mylot has it so I only type a keyword and this blog came out. My only reaction is that I shook my head and I can feel it is coming..... the time will come and it coming, lol.
I am losing my mind, I'm so tired lol.

never. I had several complaints at first and go ask alex was right on the ball, told me that that behavior was not tolerated here and the person would be chastised. They are very fair and every one I have come in contact with has treated me like a friend.

They are just trolls. They seem to love to complain. I have encountered people like that on many sites over the years. MyLot is way better than every writing site I ever been with. And for good reason. They were the first. And they have their ducks all lined up in a row. Everything works awesome here. Don't worry about that person. Block them.

Maybe he was jealous of your friend making good money on all those sites.
I've had an experience where someone wrote something bad about a site that I am also on and telling others not to join. I commented saying that just because they had a bad experience on that site doesn't mean it's a bad one and others shouldn't join. But then the person said I was defending the site and wasn't thrilled about that.

No but I got abused by someone on blogjob and that person was literally kicked off the site for turning me in to the adm. I will say part of the name " blue" and on one site its a man and on another its a woman. And yes I heard those claims about mylot from this person. I wanted to tell them to go fly a kite but I am bigger and better than that person. Let the insanity continue till he/she is banned from all writing sites.

Yep, you know who I'm talking about @andriaperry!! They were also offensive on a FaceBook post to one of my dear friends!! That became personal to me and I've seen this person around not just on writing sites but gaption.com as well running their mouth!!
