What a Day for Postcards!!

Me too, it is surprising isn't it the little things that bring so much pleasure.

@BelleStarr They were mailed separately because I considered that it was important for the postcard from Malta to have a Maltese stamp and postmark and the Manchester postcard to have the British ones. I did have 130 for your address, which I have amended now. At least they did arrive irrespective of a slightly wrong address. The postman no doubt thought "Oh a postcard, this must be for the mad woman at 139".

lol That is so strange, I didn't check the postmark, I just assumed you mailed them together. by the way my street number is 139 both cards have a red tail on a zero , was that you or the post office? oops sorry I realize it was me when I sent you my address I put 130 dahhhh, my bad.

I think I am going to scrapbook them and make a copy of the back to put next to it and then I can enjoy them whenever I want to smile. Here sending two cards one international and one US was $1.45 I think, reasonable I thought. I mailed off two more today. I think the difference doing it on MyLot is that we know each other and now know each other even better, we are not total strangers. Plus the numbers are smaller I am sure.

The postage costs vary vastly from country to country, even more than one would expect. Here in England I pay £1.05 to send a postcard to the USA, but from Malta I mailed three and the total cost was about the same as one from here.

@Asylum or what you paid in England I mailed two cards one to New Zealand and one to the US.

lol You would want to if you were getting pretty post cards. I have a question for you, are you still making the quilts with jeans? I was going to throw away two pairs of my hubs and I thought of you. I could mail them to you if you want.

'd be honored to've those britches! they're so scarce these days't seems. so many blow me off'n send'em to the landfill :( includin' family! i've thoughts'n diff'rent fabrics to put with such, e'en doin' one with a "stained glass effect". @BelleStarr Not yet - the postman didnt come today - it was quite cold and overcast so I wonder if he was lazy.
