Should smoking be permitted in smoking?

Don't make the people around you put up with your bad habits It is known that the act of smoking is bad for ones health, but being near someone smoking a cigarette ("Passive smoking") isn't very healthy either! And the problem is, that as a passive smoker, you can't really do anything about it. I myself have been forced to wait on a bus in the streaming rain, because the shelter was occupied by half a dozen smokers, and I really can't stand the smoke (I'm very sensitive to it). Don't make other people suffer from your own bad habits!

Ya it irritates me as well when someone smokes in the public.I tend to genuinely ask that person to stop or don't smoke in public areas because if you are not concerned about your health atleast we people are concerned about ours.

@pbose001 Ya the most our government can do is to put as many restrictions as they can on smoking and to allow it in only particular areas and to punish the people who do smoking in the restricted areas.

Thanks for the share. There are many hoardings which say smoking causes cancer. It is not good smoking in public.
