Angus, Our Lovely Dog

This is my dog Angus. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed. He was 3 years old in this photo. This photo was taken in Carne Rock, County Mayo beach where Angus and I usually strolled around. I called this my private beach as it was mostly only me and Angus were there. It was only 5 minutes drive from our rented home in Ireland. I have not seen Angus for 2 years now besides on Skype. He is doing well and well taken care of. He is living in my home in the Philippines. I am excited to see him soon. I hope he can still remember us. I know that he still recognised our voices when we called him when we were skyping with my family because he kept on looking where the voices came. Have you left your pet for a long time? Have you missed her or him?

I am sure you missed Angus. I love his spots. Looks like the place is really private. Very peaceful and calm.

Yes, indeed. It was heartbreaking for both of us. The first few days he was sad and didn't like to eat. It was good that my small nieces are fond of playing with him @KristenH .

Angus will remember you. Dogs are so smart. That beach in Ireland is beautiful and so is Angus. He must have had quite a flight from there to the Philippines! I have only left my cats and dog for weeklong vacations.

Yes, it was a long flight for him to the Philippines that is why we don't like him to experience that again. He might get lost as well. I wrote about how to bring your dog to the Philippines in Hubpages after bringing him there and now I got plenty of comments from people or Filipinos around the world who wanted to bring their pets to the Philippines. Thanks @DianneN

Not my pet but that of my mom and younger brother. Both of them have shih tzu dogs that we had to leave with my cousins when we moved to our new home.

He looks a sweet dog. So you are going back to the Philippines soon? What a reunion that will be.

es, we had to give away our dog we had had for 5 years when we moved. We were not allowed to have pets and he was our baby before we had babies. Well, he was not loving our new baby so wehad to make a choice, the baby or the dog had to go. After much heart ache we chose to dog.

@thelme55 Yes, he went to a single lady that used to ride him around with her in her jeep. He loved it and did not have to deal with any kids.

Your dog is adorable! I have never left my dog for long periods of time. My dogs tend to get separation anxiety, so there is always someone with them. When I moved to Newfoundland temporarily, I left my dogs with my mother and I would skype her all the time. I would always ask her to put my dogs on the video camera. :)

Yes, dogs like mine and yours have separation anxiety that is why I see to it that my relatives whom angus already love are there for him to care. @lexinonomous I talk to angus in front of the camera, too when I skype with my relatives. Thanks for your comment
