My Topics Are a Bit Boring Lately

I'm here to say it again... yes, AGAIN! I'm tired!!!!! I seem to write about that often. Today, however, I feel even more so than usual. I was about to say I don't know why, but I guess I do. First of all, I woke about an hour before I meant to. And I already had my alarm set for the early side as I wanted to yoga before going to the gym. Thus, my sleep was less than ideal. Second, there's probably a little bit of hormonal stuff going on with me and my womanly self. Third, the weather has been pretty rainy and dreary for 2 days. Though, upon going outside to drive my daughter to her dance class, I realized that the sun is now shining brightly. In about an hour, I must take my son to soccer practice. My 5 year old and I have had a fun little routine lately during soccer. She brings her scooter to ride with me while I jog. Last week, I jogged close to 3 miles doing that. She doesn't get as tired as she would if I tried to have her jog with me. I'm hoping that I find some energy when we arrive at soccer practice. Either that or I am hoping a huge thunderstorm comes blasting through in about an hour so that practice is cancelled. A girl can hope, right?

I have to confess, I never, ever find your topics boring. In fact I look forward to reading them based on the fact that your life is very busy, a time in my life when I loved every aspect of it, now that I look back anyways. I so loved those days of being the soccer Mom, and would have loved to have been able to take a daughter to dance class, so much in fact, that I used to pick my niece up and take her for hers once a week. I did that for over a year while my brother's drivers license had been suspended due to health issues.

@jillybean1222 My older brother and I are 11 months apart, and when we were teens he had a seizure one day, and he told me that when he has them it makes him feel like a disgrace to our family. I will never ever forget how that conversation broke my heart, I reassured him that he could never disgrace anyone. I've always been his leaning post, and his daughter has a "princess" room here, she picked out the pink paint for it and helped me buy the frilly accents that are everywhere. I might have been helpful to him at the time, but the rewards, the memories of those times we spent together her and I, they still warm my heart.

I have felt tired a lot lately too. I think it is due to the rainy weather and the fact that my allergies have been so bad. I was on the couch all day yesterday, I really think I have sinus infection now and probably should go to the doc and get that horrible shot! I will hope that the thunderstorm we are about to get, comes your way!

If your area cancels practice with thunderstorms that must be nice. I never had kids in soccer or any other sport although they were cheerleaders for awhile. But, in our area they don't cancel practice or games if it rains. Only if there is lightening. I've found in the past that both exercise and eating something nourishing can help me stay awake longer. Maybe the job will do the trick for you. I'm impressed that your five year old is able to ride her scooter three miles at a shot. She must have great balance to be able to do that with you. I was tired when finishing work today too especially after driving the half hour home from the job. I thought I'd take a nap before supper, but even though I'm still a bit tired, I'm going strong. I've planted two new plants, watered my flowers, went and did a bid with my husband and I still have a few more things to accomplish before I hit the bed tonight. I thought your picture here looked pretty cool too, and your title drew me in, but I don't think you're boring.
