I watched as one,two, three bunnies hop.hop, hop
The farmer came running as someone had let them out
I did not want to chase them He yelled stop stop stop
The little girl giggled i glared at her and she gave a pout
The farmer came over to the giggling girl
:Girl why did y ou open those cages shame'
The girl said"were they bad? guess Im to blame
Farmer said "My yard has no fence littlePearl;"
Pearl got some kids to gether and one t wo three
They came back carrying the rabbits outrageous
'The girl said "I will put them back in the c ages
How they caught them was a big mystery

Nice little poem. Right now we are getting overrun by snowshoe hares in our neck of the woods. They're in their summer coloration right now but my are there ever a lot of them.

@Hatley I thought what we had here was jack rabbits until that first winter they all turned white like the snow. No jackalope here though.

we once had three that I thought we were going to have as petsd nope my'
hubby wanted rabbit meat I could not eat that at all ugh
