Sleep pattern is out

Sleep pattern is out I don’t think I really have a sleep pattern and if I do then it’s out. I’ll often up late into the night which it normal for me in many ways although I can/could go to bed earlier if I had too. This last few day my so-called sleep pattern been way out with taking a nap/sleep in the evening then waking some hours later. I’ve tried to turn out and fall back to sleep, which has been no good. I’m sure I’ll get back into some kind of routine again soon. Do you have weeks like that, where you sleep pattern/normal routine goes out?

As I get older I don't sleep nearly as well as I used to. Mostly I'm' too lazy to get up in the middle of the night so I try to follow a train of thought which sometimes works and puts me back to sleep.

That's good you can do that. I wished I could sleep like I did in my teens lol.

@kevin1877uk Wouldn't it be great? Even a 4- or 5-hour stretch without waking is becoming less frequent nowadays.

Hello, Kevin! Since Monday my sleep pattern was a little bit off because I was on a trip in this beautiful island. I slept at 8pm which was very unusual because the day time tour had made me so exhausted. I think it's normal that our sleep pattern changes once in awhile.

@Jdaw1985 It would be nice though to have a normal sleep pattern, I think I did when I was over there although we would go to bed at time from 10pm until 1am depending on what we were doing. So maybe I did have so kind of normal sleep pattern.

My sleep pattern is shot. On the days when I need to get up early in the morning, I'm like a zombie until I can get a nap in. The other days it's not uncommon for me to sleep all day and be awake all night. I don't like it but my body seems to enjoy this upside down lifestyle for some reason.

@kevin1877uk lol! I did. I had a great sleep pattern! I would go to bed around midnight every night. My head would hit the pillow and I'd be OUT! Fast asleep until morning. My body wouldn't even move! And I'd wake up and feel so good. Not any more. I keep hoping it will magically come back!

I have never had a normal sleeping pattern. My sleep patterns vary throughout the week. I wear a fitbit all the time, excluding my showers. It will monitor my sleep and it's very different every night. I usually only get 4-6 hours of sleep a night.

@kevin1877uk It's a love/hate relationship. I love to sleep, but once I'm awake, I want to stay awake.

My sleep pattern is erratic. I go to bed late, then toss and turn most of the night. i never get enough sleep. Once in awhile I get a little nap during the day. Hope yours gets back to normal soon.

Yes and no. My routine my change a little, where I wake up later or go to bed just a little earlier etc... However, I have to keep it as close to what I'm used to as possible or I turn into The Grouch! ] Hopefully you can get back into some semblance of schedule.

Sometimes I can sleep well with only some disturbance like having to go to the comfort room for a pee then I can sleep again.
