Some weeks seem longer than others. This has been one of those. Not in a negative way, mind you, just in how much I've managed to cram into it. Yes, It's been a busy week, but a rewarding one and now it's Friday night here down under, and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend ahead. I like Fridays, as I get to start my relaxing slide into the weekend. Both my friend and I have been working more than usual this week and so, we started our Friday by meeting for coffee and comparing notes on how the week had proceeded. Tonight I have no plans. Maybe some time on here, certainly a bit of reading and, maybe, even an early night. Whatever the weekend has in store, I'm free to do things my way. This is time to sit back and unwind. So, in my case Friday night simply means slowing down, choosing to spend my time how I want, at a pace I want.

We've had quite a productive week too. We have been preparing to go away next week and while there isn't a lot to do there has been some preparation needed. Enjoy your weekend.

I suspect my bed is going to see a lot of me over this long weekend. I've been way too busy this week and once I fall asleep...well, I might just hang out in my dreams a little longer than usual.

I'm a bit like you ... I like friday evenings to unwind and slide slowly into saturday... I'm glad you've had a productive week and hope your weekend goes just as well....

Some weeks can be like that. I hope you are able to enjoy your weekend. I have a fairly busy weekend ahead, but a fun one. Between seeing some friends, and my eldest's ballet recital, it'll be fun.

@valmnz That looks like a fine river to walk alongside. My weekend will be taken up with the writing retreat I'm going on. Sixty miles away on the coast it is, far enough away to forget and let my imagination run wild.

Sounds like a great way to spend Friday night. My week has been a busy one as well and I feel the same way, the week was a long one and not over yet. So much happened this week, it's hard to believe so much could be crammed into it. I hope you have a nice calm relaxing weekend.

Ya this happens.It's like the whole week you work do hard and then Friday makes you feel so relaxing and stress free.I love Fridays.
