Good afternoon.Just back from a going away breakfast.
One of our closet tennis player is leaving to move to Minneapolis.
He cancer treatment is coming to and end.Look like he is going to make.
I cannot believe the heavy traffic out there .As the weekend begins.
Then had to go and pick up some shrimp at the market.
This place had wall to wall customer and every cash register was filled.
I could not wait to get home and away from the maddening crowd
They are animals at the market and highway.
On the good note.We have been invited for a cookout.
A birthday party and my request barbecue spare ribs.Yea!
Any cook out plan there on the holiday weekend..

Well wishes for your tennis friend - sounds like he had a good send off! Ah, I forgot it's the 3 day weekend ... I don't doubt the traffic is starting already - I better go run my errands too because I'm sure everyone is getting ready for their bbqs this weekend. You guys have a fabulous weekend, ok?

When we eat at home we cook out every time (almost very time, pasta is an exception!)...some people only use their grills on holidays, ours is in constant use. We plan to hit the store Sunday morning when everyone is in church.

I'm glad I don't have to do any traveling this weekend and deal with traffic. We'll probably be doing some bbq at home over the weekend

Our holiday weekend will be a quiet one. Mom and I will be staying home, where it will hopefully be quiet. ;)

No plan, just resting - - our son and his young family just left for home (Regina, Saskatchewan). They were here for a week visit.

We try to avoid shopping when we know there are going to hundreds of 'extra' shoppers around. When there is a holiday looming some people shop like there is no tomorrow.
