In 2008 I had an opportunity working in a cyber cafe online. I saw an ads WorK At Home, It was a PTC (Paid To Click). It was a new site called Clixsence just started in 2007. I also joined another new PTC called Neo Bux. That was my click jobs online, by viewing advertisement and click the matching icons, and get paid. There were many advertisement and I started to joined like Hit safari, Donkey Mails. Within 3 years I was not earning any pennies and I stopped and travel to Cambodia supervising village school constructions. Coming back from Cambodia I started online again and was surprising these 2 PTC sites Clixsense and Neobux are alive. I joined again and I only reach $2 payout in Neobux. Searching online and get involve in another opportunities in TE called Traffic Exchange, They are few ways getting cash reward here and I did reached $10 payout in few TE sites. Now new TE sites are blooming. I visited about 50 sites daily to collect Zubee Coin. Zubee coins are awarded when you log in , about 3 types of coins can be collected on each websites. Coins can be exchange to cash. Then we also have read email sites like Viral Mail and ViralTE too. All these PTC TE Viral Mail have connection, they are advertising you websites link. Besides the above what else I am missing,, please kindly add and do respond Thanks Chung

I think my first one may have been SurveyMonkey. I used to qualify for all kinds of surveys all the time for the first year but then after that surveys were hard to come by - so I quit.

The first time I earned money online was from Helium. It was a writing site that I heard about on TV. I made money there for several years. It closed a while back.

I heard about Helium before. Why did they close? Anyway, were you able to save all your written contents from there?

@annierose I did save a number of things but lost a lot, too. I downloaded them with all the html intact so I can prove I wrote it. I have rewritten some stuff for a website I used to write for. It is from a fresh perspective. The site had glory days and then someone else took over and changed it completely. It crashed and burned.

My first was Bubblews I guess. If you're talking about writing sites online in general though I was on Yahoo Contributor Network first.

I was in Bubblews. The payment works well before then they need to shut it down. I didn't heard of it anymore.
