The prettiest baby ever born that day.
The cutest daughter ever.
The wisest among his kids.
The smartest girl.
The prettiest in town.
The best singer in the world.
In my father's eyes I could do no wrong. I was the perfect daughter.
I am my father's daughter and I know he loves me beyond death. I love you dad and I miss you. Wish you were here on your 70th birthday. Kisses from earth to heaven!

Happy Birthday to your Dad dear Toni.
I knew some of the bondings between you and him from earlier MyLot, but this one is more explaining.
I know, it is difficult, but I will be a good father for my baby... and I hope she too has the similar thoughts about me when I am gone.

I hope so. But I think he's also a bit worried. I can imagine him saying this: damn that girl she's becoming so much like me, she should hold down her wit sometimes!

I'm sorry for what happened to you family and your parents, being taken away from you at an early age. I'm sure he is looking down and feeling proud to know you are a successful person in your own right.

Thanks. Whatever success I have, it's all because of my parents. I just wish they were here to witness that in person and celebrate with us. Miss hugging them both.

@infatuatedbby Nah my father wasn't a handsome man but he was quite popular with women. He was one smart, witty, humorous soul. That's why my mom fell head over heels in love with him and so did my third grade teacher

aww how wonderful that your father thought so much of you. I did not get along with my father at all until probably about 10 years ago in my 20s. I think he has changed after his stroke and I have changed after being widowed. It made us both kinder people. I wish your father could still be here. 70 is still to young in my eyes to not be alive.

he had always told us that he would never grow old and would die young. Indeed he did at the age of 44.

@epiffanie Thanks for sharing your story. I would have done the same if I were in your situation. I just can't leave my poor boy yet. He's too young. But if it's God's will, there's nothing much we can do about it. I know He has a reason for why things happened to us.
It's been 25 years and I know my parents continuously guide me every single day. I could sense them trying to protect me from all sorts of danger.

@toniganzon Did you mean you were only 13 years old when your Dad passed on?...That is indeed sad ..but you had the best memories of him.. I was in my mid 30s when my father passed away but most of my memories of him aren't that good unfortunately .. You are so blessed indeed having those beautiful memories ..
