I'm sure glad that my daughter suggested I crochet these for her step-son's 13th birthday tomorrow. It's not anything I would have thought of. They were easy to make and fun too. I looked on etsy and several people are selling them. As usual, for a lot higher price than I would think of. Yo can probably figure that now I'm ready to make more and put them in my etsy shop, but I have to stop myself for now. I MUST finish crocheting Princess Anna before June 5 and then I would love to finish the special order blue and brown yo-yo table runner before my mission trip on the 11th so that I can earn from it. I really like the one made with the varigated yarn the best. What do you think? For those interested, this is where I found the pattern: http://www.freshstitches.com/how-to-make-a-hacky-sack-crochet-easy/ p.s. Since the picture of my new tablet didn't go in last time I thought I would sneak it in the picture too.

Not sure where the name came from, but kids and adults like to toss them with their feet and elbows etc and the challenge is to see how long you can keep them in the air before they hit the ground not using your hands to bat them.

@marsha32 like a game of keepy-up but with sacks instead of a ball

Like you I prefer the variegated one. I will look into the pattern. It will not be as easy for me, but I will get some done. Neat new laptop.

I like the colorful one in the middle, very nice job. I am not good at crocheting i don't have the coordination to do it, i've tried. Hope you get your other projects done in time.
