For those of you who like to walk or go on a hike Flagstaff has just the place. It is call Humphreys Peak.. It is the highest point in Arizona at 12,633 feet. It is a round trip of about 9 miles. You can find snow on the ground even in the summer time. You will have many breath taking views as you climb. The biggest problem would be hiking uphill in such a high altitude will get you short of breath. However when you start down it become so much easier. And no I have never hiked the hill..

I would love to hike this hill! One day I am sure to travel the west again but I can make time to do things like hoking and see what cannot be seen by car. When I was younger I used to walk in the woods on the side of Mount Cheaha the tallest mountain in Alabama, I live close to the foot of this mountain.

I am neither a hiker nor a walker. But I do enjoy looking at photos of such views,as I can't go there. Are there wild flowers on the sides of the path to the hill?

I enjoy walking, but I'm afraid I would have to decline that hike. You guys should do it easily.
