The best place to criticise some one is before the mirror

We always say ,'we should not criticise anyone but we do not follow it in our lives. We criticise everything and everyone relishly. We never enjoy praising other. In my opinion , if you want to criticise someone , I have no objectionbut first remove that point of criticism from with in yourself. Everybody wants to show himself milk white but nobody is milkwhite. In reality we all are human beings and a heap of evils but we are not ready to accept this reality because eye can not see itself. We are so expert in picking the holes in someone that we can criticise the garments ,food, walking atyle, speaking style, studyimg style, working style and body. If someone is blind or one eyed, deaf, dumb, dwarf, taller, fatter and weaker we have to criticise as if our main purpose of life is just to criticise others. If somebody lisps or stammers we laugh at him a lot. Can we ever be the critic of ourselves which is a thousand times better than criticising others. If you raise a finger to others to criticise then the rest of the four fingers already raise towards yourself.

Your post reminded me of a scripture in the Bible. I don't know if you read the Bible, but here's what it says: James 1:22-25 "However, become doers of the word and not just hearers only, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a MAN LOOKING AT HIS NATURAL FACE IN A MIRROR. For he looks at himself and off he goes and immediately forgets what sort of man he is. But, he who peers into the perfect law that belongs to freedom and who persists in it, this man, because he has become, not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work will be happy in his doing it." Verse 26 goes on to say: ''If any man seems to himself to be a formal worshiper and yet does not bridle his tongue, but goes on deceiving his own heart, this man's form of worship is futile." So bridling our tongue would include NOT criticizing other people, especially when we are aware that we are not perfect either.

I really liked your response and thank you very much for it. I am a very ordinary person. In my opinion, we should respect and love each other. All the persons of the world are my brothers and sisters. We all should respect all the religions and religious books. Socrates writes- There is one good , knowledge, and one evil ignorance. Confucius. writes- Ignorance is the night of the mind, a night without moon and star. C. Simons writes- Reverence is the very first element of religion. Thomas Fuller writes- A good life is the only religion. I have written it only to unite all the persons and to tell about the ideas of the intellectual persons. Thmas Paine writes the best- My country is the world , and my religion is to do good. Thank you very for sharing good things with me.
