Roasted Corn on the Cob

United States
May 30, 2016 11:55am CST
I had something yesterday for the very first time and boy was it GOOD!! We were having a barbecue so my son in law put the corn on the cob directly on the grill. He turned it over quite a few times so that it was evenly cooked and this is the first time I ever had grilled corn. It so so sweet and delicious. Now I wish we were grilling again today so I could have more!!! Have you ever grilled corn on the cob?

For many years I have not been able to eat corn due to seeing the remnants following operations of gallbladder stones. Daft but true!

We use to grill corn until we found out about microwaving it. Like on the grill, we cook it in the shucks. After 2:1/2 minutes it comes out so sweet and tasty. Look it up on YouTube to see how it works.

I love grilled corn. If we're grilling meat, we grill the corn as well. It tastes so much better.

I have never been a fan of corn I the cob but I do like the hint of grill with some butter or some sort of seasoning lightly.

@marguicha you should try it roasted...if you have a grill just shuck it and put it straight on the gill and continue rolling it around until it gets tender & roasted (probably about 10 min or less)
