Roasted Corn on the Cob

I had something yesterday for the very first time and boy was it GOOD!!
We were having a barbecue so my son in law put the corn on the cob directly on the grill. He turned it over quite a few times so that it was evenly cooked and this is the first time I ever had grilled corn. It so so sweet and delicious.
Now I wish we were grilling again today so I could have more!!!

We just put it straight on the grill...no foil....it was delicious

Yes and I do that with a lot of vegetables or I will roast them in an oven!!

Roasted veggies have a completely different taste than steamed or boiled..!m going to have to do this more often

For many years I have not been able to eat corn due to seeing the remnants following operations of gallbladder stones. Daft but true!

Its sad when you have to avoid certain foods...I have the same problem with nuts

@marguicha you should try it roasted...if you have a grill just shuck it and put it straight on the gill and continue rolling it around until it gets tender & roasted (probably about 10 min or less)

I have never been a fan of corn I the cob but I do like the hint of grill with some butter or some sort of seasoning lightly.

yes, i love it. we were going to do it for my son's bday last week, but it was rainy. so we just cooked on the stovetop. os much better on the grill

Filipinos do that always since we were kids and i understand why you love it, corn is plentiful in our country so grilled corn are sold on streets in some places or provinces, really delicious and the aroma hmmm..
