I was in a hurry to prepare my husband's take out breakfast so I found it nice if I just toast the bread in a pan instead of using the oven.
It turned out nice, the bread looked nice because I put on some butter to grease one side only; to avoid too much fat also. Tasted nice also because of the ground garlic I added to it. So it's a version of a garlic bread.
Do you also do such "unusual" things when the need arise?

Very true, it is yummy, and also the reason I used the pan was because I had to set up the oven which consumes time.

Yes, and I also saved that stale bread instead of throwing it. I made it into a garlic bread. Thanks, @Teep11.

Yes, it is usually cooked in the oven, but I was in a hurry to set up the oven while my pan was jut there ready for use. Thanks, @jstory07.

That sounds really nice. I love garlic bread and also fried bread although I know the latter isn't very good for me. It's a shame so many nice-tasting things aren't good for us, isn't it?
