Pan-Toasted Bread

I was in a hurry to prepare my husband's take out breakfast so I found it nice if I just toast the bread in a pan instead of using the oven. It turned out nice, the bread looked nice because I put on some butter to grease one side only; to avoid too much fat also. Tasted nice also because of the ground garlic I added to it. So it's a version of a garlic bread. Do you also do such "unusual" things when the need arise?

Yes, I have to discover more things which are more convenient and accessible to our budget and what is available in our kitchen.

Very true, it is yummy, and also the reason I used the pan was because I had to set up the oven which consumes time.

I've had toasted bread in a pan before and when the garlic is added. It's amazing. I'm sure your husband really enjoyed the bread. Take care.

Yes, and I also saved that stale bread instead of throwing it. I made it into a garlic bread. Thanks, @Teep11.

The garlic toast sounds delicious. Half the fun of cooking is trying something new.

Indeed, we are so happy when the "experiments" we do turn out successful!

Yes, it is usually cooked in the oven, but I was in a hurry to set up the oven while my pan was jut there ready for use. Thanks, @jstory07.

That sounds really nice. I love garlic bread and also fried bread although I know the latter isn't very good for me. It's a shame so many nice-tasting things aren't good for us, isn't it?
