It's now official. Maria Leonor Gerona Robredo has been officially proclaimed as the 16th Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines. A lawyer by profession, a simple congresswoman who rides in a bus in going to the Congress, and the loving wife of former DILG Secretary late Jesse M. Robredo--died in a plane crash few years ago. Any thoughts? The photo was taken when she went down from the bus in the bus station.

I wish she will be good as a Vice President of Pres. Duterte.. Specially there's a bad start because It seems they're not compatible to each other.

I voted for her too. Many did not know that she and husband, the late Jesse Robredo have a foundation that helps the marginalized Filipinos but they did not have it announced in the media; one was when they donated some 200 fishing boats for the victims of typhoon Haiyan. And they don't like corruption too! Hope she will always be safe specially she always travel by bus going home to Bicol.
