How I spent Memorial Day 2016

I didn't do to much yesterday it was nice to mostly relax for the day.
My mother called me the night before and said we would get together for dinner some times between 3 and 6. I assumed she would give me warning awhile ahead of time.
My niece called me at 4:50 pm and told me dinner would be at 5. I told her I had to make my kids food then we would be over. I made them a pizza. To share with my family I made cucumber sandwiches, brought two bottles of soda and cut up a large watermelon.
I got the ceiling molding taped. I got ready to paint the ceiling and remembered my daughters friend is coming over today. She has really bad asthma so I couldn't paint last night in case it would bother her.
My mothers man came to dinner. I didn't have any warning that he would be there but I was okay with it until he started arguing with my mom about my dad messaging her during dinner. That ruined my night.
My man texted me asking if I wanted him to stop by. I was happy to have the complany. We watched The Hunger Games : Catching Fire.

Sorry you had to hear the fighting, but the rest sounds like fun. We didn't do anything, though I am sure my husband wants to cook out one day this week.

@Carmelanirel2 I bought them at the store. The brand is Boca. they were spicy chicken flavored.

Sounds like for the most part it was relaxing. You messages your mom at the dinner table and he got mad? Have you met him before? Her man. That's a little rude to argue in front, no?

I wrote this from my ipod. I make more mistakes then when I write from my computer. I have corrected it now but this should say that my moms man argued with her because she read and responded to a message my DAD sent her. I was sitting with them as well as my sister during this and they were argueing in front of my 8 year old son.

Oh no worries. I get typos in general but more when I use my phone also. 
Did he know it was your dad. Sorry, he was arguing - he could have waited until you all left though.

@infatuatedbby Yes he knew it was my dad and that was partially why he was mad the other reason was that he thinks its rude to be on the phone during dinner. I think it was rude of him ro scold her and treat her like a child.

Sounds like a pretty good Memorial Day! And I hope you liked the movie! That one is one of my favorites!
