What's going on the dinner table tonight? Do tell!
I'm making a recipe from one of my Mexican cookbooks, Pati's Mexican Table. I'm making Shredded Pork in Ancho-Orange Sauce. It is exactly what it sounds like. You cook cubes of pork in orange juice until they are able to be shredded and finish them off with a tangy ancho pepper sauce. The whole thing gets served in flour tortillas with pieces of avocado on top. Yum. I think I'll make some Gulf-style White Rice to go with it (rice cooked in chicken broth with onion and garlic) in case I don't want tortillas. I also have some yellow squash that needs to be cooked. I'll just saute it with onion and call it a day.

We watch Pati once in awhile. We're just having spaghetti m. My girlfriend made this really good sauce.
