Aircon or Electric fan?which? / myLot

I prefer to use electric fan to conserve electricity rather than aircon because all of us suffer economic crisis. Which do you prefer to use?

I wish I could get along with using just electric fans for more than a couple of months out of the year. But when the temps go over 90 F. or less if it's really humid, then the heat just wipes me out and makes me sick. And before you think badly of me, I've only had central air for the last 7 years and I'm 56 years old, so I've had to deal with the heat for most of my life. I spent a lot of summer nights sleeping with no sheet or blanket, with the fan in the window and blowing directly on me, and was still too hot to sleep many nights. But I never turn the dial below about 72 in the summer or over about 76 in the winter - I just put on more clothes. I'm very thankful that I don't live in any of the places that experience rolling brown-outs during the heat waves.

Its ok. Your reason is valid but if possible pls use the electric fan to conserve electricity.

Yeah, that's what I said that I do. I use just the electric fan when possible, but I'm really glad I have central air now for when it's really HOT.
