Are commenting in mylot influenced by number of responses?

June 2, 2016 2:46am CST
In mylot, it has been seen that when one particular discussion, already has around 10 to 15 responses many people continue commenting on those discussions. It seems some members are influenced by number of responses. I actually respond on the ones where I have some expertise. It does not matter, if I am the only person who comment on that article or response. As long as the interaction can have fruitful outcome, there is no harm responding alone. Very innovative discussions are triggered in mylot.

I don't mind the number of responses to a discussion. If I am interested to the topic, I respond to it even if I am the first one to write a response. Actually, I like to respond to those discussions without response. As long as I can understand it and it gets my interest.

Thanks Ervin, yes that is the reason, once any discussion already gets many responses it just continues.

Yeah... same here... i never see the number of responses... sometimes it happens that heading is interesting and the content is not upto the mark or i may not have anything to say... so even after reading it i dont respond... i generally catch up with most recent discussion so sometimes i happen to be the first to respond....

Yes I think discussions should be on a common topic so that everyone can give their opinion about it.

Thanks Jerry, it depends on culture, liking, food, habits of the person in that part of the world. What is common for one person is not common for the other person.
