Problems with technology: my TV is dead.

Today I woke up with a bang. I had gone to sleep with the lights on and the remote control over my belly. During the nigh I turned and the control fell.
Something must have happened, some button must have moved. for I don´t have TV now and the modem has no light on.
I pushed every single button there and nothing happened. The smart TV is too smart for me. So I shall wait mylotting until Leticia comes. She is better than me at pushing buttons.
I definitly don´t like technology. I´m sure things could have been done easily and more friendly for old people.

The most likely cause would be that the batteries in the remote have slightly moved and the circuit is incomplete. Open the battery compartment and take them out then replace them. If this fails try new batteries because they could have simply run down, which has to happen some time.

I will try that. But I changed the batteries a short time ago and the TV control does not use up so much energy.

@marguicha They could easily have been dislodged by the fall, which makes it worth checking before looking for other causes.
