I Am Draining You! / myLot

In two days ... The dryer stopped working and now today the shower drain is clogged so there is about 3 inches of gross floaty nasty water sitting in my shower. Ive spent about 3 hours trying every remedy I could think of to unclog the drain but no such luck. It seems like things stop working or break in pairs, It cant just be one thing, ugh! One semi positive thing today is I am expecting a call in a few minutes on a potential job. I guess this is a phone screening and if they like me they will bring me in for an interview. I need some sort of good news lately. Between my grandma and all the crap in the house. Wish me luck folks. I hope your Thursday is going better than mine.

On the dryer, you might try checking to see if it somehow got unplugged of if the circuit-breaker is still on. On the shower, you could try a wire clothes hanger down the drain. Just a thought...Best of luck on the job interview.

The dryer sometimes gets plugged up full of lint every 6 months and it needs to be cleaned out or it will cause a fire. The dryer completely sucks! Thank you I landed myself an interview next Tuesday

@Hatley Well thats good to hear. I have a repair man out today to fix the dryer and the drain and hope he can fix it and my home life can get back to normal :-)

Sorry to hear having those things happen always sucks. I am guessing a plunger and a metal hanger to try to pull any hair that might be in the drain worked. I would say check youtube sometimes they have home repair videos.I hope things get better for you.
