Good afternoon.Do you remember your first date?
For me I was in the Navy and home on leave.
I dated a girl that I have known for years.
Finally asked her if she was interest to see a movie.
Frances was a shy girl along with me a shy guy.Never went on a date.
We took in a movie.After the movie walked her home.
Saying good night and no peck on the cheek.For me I was not interest in kissing her and not sure if she felt slighted.This was the start of something was not right by me.Then realized that I am gay.This is the first time I felt this way.
That was the first and the last time on a date.
I felt awkward and did not know how to handle it.

my first date.. erm not sure how to class it, I always hang out with guys as friends.
then at a party, I kissed one of them as a dare.. somehow that counted for the guy..
my first serious boyfriend was like 2 years later.. so not sure if that count

what I remember is that I was 13 and she was 13. Went to a movie Sunday afternoon and then just hung out at the soda shop as if it was nothing.

My first date was a double date with my friend, her boyfriend and his friend. His friend was gorgeous but I felt awkward on this blind date. We did continue dating through that summer but then it ended. I tried to find him on Facebook (LOL) but not successful. It would be fun to see if he was still good looking

We didn't tend to 'do' dates. I did snogging by the garages, flirtatious swimming, Will you go out with me? {which was just generally a case of Yippee, I have a boyfriend, let's hold hands and talk about music and stuff!} and I got frisky in graveyards with boys who would become more than friends, but we didn't call it 'dating'.

Hell yes! It was in the school yard and after that I stayed too late and I remember my dad yelled too much. Anyways my first date was a very cute boy!

well i am sure you have had some great dates with your loving partner since. mine was also a movie. my mom drove us and we walked home. we kissed all through the movie and don't even remember what the movie was. lol. we held hands all the way home and he sang to me a really old fashioned song, "In the good old summer time" was the song. we were steady for 3 years till we moved and i lost contact. still wonder what happened to him.

At least you were able to figure it out. A friend of mine married a women and they had a son. Than he mte a man and asked for a divorce. The wife gave him one and joint coustey of their son. Telling him he is your son to. I will never take him from you.

Hey, I've felt the same way and I'm straight! But most of the time, I think I was just too scared. My dad took me and a "girlfriend" bowling when I was in 5th grade. I never did hold her hand or anything. I'd have to think about what my first real date was, since we mostly traveled in groups when I was a teen.
