Contemplating my online future

It's nearly a month now since BlogJob suspended their rewards program and the majority of writers have been conspicuously absent ever since, though a few are still posting regularly. I fall somewhere in between, visiting the site regularly, doing a bit of reading and commenting, but I've added no new posts since. As I mentioned in my previous discussion, I've started a photo blog at BlogSpot but Bonsai is my passion and I really want to continue that blog (which is currently at BlogJob). So much so that I've contemplated writing a new post for free in the hope of earning something through AdSense. Now, however, I've noticed that people are having problems uploading photos because they've exceeded their limit. That's a huge problem because that blog can't exist without photos, and deleting old ones isn't an option. So I've reached the stage where I'm seriously considering moving my whole blog to another site. The problem is that promoting it all over again will be a problem. I can't share the same posts at Reddit a second time and StumbleUpon wouldn't let me share my BlogSpot posts at all. I don't feel ready to use paid hosting and I don't want a free WordPress blog which won't allow advertising. I'm really feeling trapped. Any suggestions will be welcome.
I've been a bit uncertain what to do with myself since BlogJob suspended their rewards program earlier this month. I love that site and don't want to leave, but...

I am just waiting. Have you joined literacy Base? I know most bloggers ran to this site. I am waiting for people to get paid before I make a change, I learned not to jump in. I will give blogjob a little more time, if something doesnt happen soon I am out of there. I will keep writing but not for free.

@andriaperry I'm not keen to join Literacy Base. If I've learnt one thing at BlogJob it's that I want my own blog where my content isn't mixed up with what everyone else is writing. Have you managed to get your photo problem sorted out at BlogJob?

@Gina145 you can upload pix at Wordpress.com or any site where you want to upload them and just copy/paste html codes to BlogJob

I DO NOT recommend LiteracyBase as I had a not so nice message from their support.

How about staying here in myLot while contemplating on the right move for your online future. By the way, good to see you here.

@Macarrosel I have no intention of leaving myLot. I love to chat with the members here when I've got some spare time. But I need to write a serious blog too and this isn't the right place for that.

@Macarrosel Thanks. I just need to work out where to write it if BlogJob doesn't come right.

@thea09 Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe one day. I don't think I know enough yet to write a book, but in a blog I can admit to the things I don't know. It's actually proving to be a great learning experience because of the discussions some of my posts have inspired at Reddit.

@amadeo I've been using BlogSpot for just over two weeks and I'm quite enjoying it. I'm just worried about how I'll be able to promote my posts as I've been getting a fair amount of traffic from StumbleUpon and I'd hate to lose that.

Hi Gina, I did a bit of reading here and decided the best thing I could do for you would be to make it easier for you to access good information about three different website building platforms with comparisons between the three. I do hope this helps! http://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/wix-vs-weebly-which-website-builder-is-better/ http://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/weebly-vs-wordpress-whats-the-difference/
Founded in 2007, Weebly is a San Francisco-based, global platform that lets people easily create a unique website, blog or online store.
