So I just signed up for the $10.99 a month Amazon Prime membership. I have cancelled my iTunes music since I have my AP music now which is awesome. I am so happy. I may not save with paying monthly but it is totally worth it for my income. I dropped iTunes of $9.99 a month for Amazon Prime for $10.99 a month. It is nicer too because I am in the Amazon Reviews again. I am so happy and excited and now I am working on adding albums and playlists to my AP and going to listen to music since it is 10x better. Do you have Amazon Prime?

I have a trial membership to Amazon Prime, unless it has run out already, and am wondering if it could replace my Netflix. I don't have a pay-per-month for music subscription. I do need to cancel my Hulu because I never watch it. I don't like the user interface.

@carebear29 -- I totally agree. If I did buy a lot from them I'd be on that deal immediately. But it's just not for me because I have other outlets for everything (I tend to buy my music directly from the artists so they can get more money, I haven't watched any episodic TV since Night Court, most of the books I read are also bought from the author, etc.). I think it's like Sam's or Costco, though: if you do buy in bulk the cost of the membership pays for itself immediately. I'm single, so buying 20 pounds of chicken is a waste, so it wouldn't benefit me to have a membership. I'm glad they have that program, and who knows -- maybe one day things will change and I'll buy lots from them and join it.

I have Amazon Prime. I signed up so I don't have to get a million things together for free shipping and wait weeks. I also signed up because of video streaming. The videos play halfway and then say they are out of bandwidth. Who wants to watch half a video? I may cancel instead of signing up again when the year is over.

I have it as well, but not sure whether I will keep it or not, as I don't buy all that much from amazon at all. I also have iturnes, but keeping it, as I do like to listen to my music once in awhile, as I have quite a bit on itunes right now, and keep adding more.

@carebear29 I still have my itunes, but now I cancelled my Amazon prine as it is just to expensive, and I can't afford it whatsoever. I didn't know how much it was until I saw the amount that was pending in my bank account. I immediateately cancelld it, as I don't buy all that much from Amazon anyway, and if I do, I will just have to wait longer to get the items is all, and that is okay too.

Yes, I am on Amazon Prime and like it very much. I love the two day shipping and the special deals for Prime members. I have gotten some great deals as a Prime member. I love the programming and have seen some excellent docs, movies and TV shows that I did not even know existed. I was able to get Prime for $69 as a special promotion because they were celebrating receiving an Emmy award. My membership expires n September and I am uncertain what I will do then. If you could join for a year, you would be saving a little bit of money.

my wife belongs to Amazon Prime and we never pay shipping fees when we order stuff. ordered 2 books Friday and today is Sunday and they were just delivered

Congratulations @carebear29. I rejoice with you cos i understand the feeling that comes along with making a wonderful discovery and gladly subscribing to it inspite of additional cost; especially when the excitement stems from the fact that the additional cost is little and insignificant compared to the numerous benefits that come with it.
