Do You Get Back on Your Old Discussions?

I noticed a lot of notifications from members who reacted or commented on some of my old discussion posts. So I realized there is a need to look back at old posts to see if there is a new comment on it. I find it as my "duty" to reply on comments of members to show my gratitude to them for taking time to read and comment on my posts. Sorry if there were those I failed to reply in the older posts. I will get back to it one by one later. Thanks a lot my friends.

I always write down the stats for each of my posts, so a glance at them will tell me straight away if I have new comments without opening the post. I only open it if there are new responses. Like you, i do like to reply to everyone.

You are so systematic. I didn't notice the stats. I just rely on my notifications. Thanks for this info.

After login here, seeing my notifs first and my bank if there is movement, seeing my notifications being commented and like even it is already old discussion, so I'm going to reply back that old discussion.

Yes, it's good it is reflected in the notifications, otherwise I think it would be "unfair" if I won't be able to reply on their comments.

@acelawrites It's saddened to the part of the one who give comments and not been commented back, so it's nice to give it back to him the comments.

Yes, I do if an old post shows up on my notifications. I find it a duty as well to reply to any comments on my posts or replies to my comments.

When I receive notifications about it, I do. Then I discover grammar lapses too!

Only when people kept commenting on it. And sometimes I do ask questions so that I can keep the conversation going. I don't want to act like a robot now a days

Yes. That is what is called 'residual' income. Sometimes, you'll go to bed at night and, next day, you'll notice that your bank went up a couple of pennies without posting new discussions. Some people scroll back to older discussions and give comments.

I see comments come up on previous discussions once in awhile. I will sometimes search a tag and find something old worth commenting on myself.

Sometimes I will check older posts to comment on responses that have been added. I just scroll through the comment section and respond to those I may have missed. Takes time, but worth the effort.
