Forgot my Change!

Philippines
June 7, 2016 8:06am CST
I went to a mall a bit far from the house this afternoon because Grandma had run out of Listerine. Well, there's a lot of Mouth wash with this brand everywhere, but she wants specifically the original one, which can only be bought on this closest branch. So, I went there and bought. Here's the thing though I normally tend to forget what I bought and cashier ends up reminding me. Well, that happened to the customer before. But what I did forgot was my "change" and it was trouble some because the staff had to recount their cash while there's a line waiting. After a couple of minutes, I got my change. I should have just stayed longer and take my change, but I can partly blame the cashier for not actually giving me the change.

There isn't a dish the change drops in for you? Yes, the cashier was at fault.

He was a total zombie! I should have been mad but I left immediately the moment I got the purchase.

Oh dear, you are becoming quite forgetful and the cashier is just as forgetful and hope she did not do that intentionally.

Hello @salonga Maybe I was thinking too much of strolling around the mall for a little bit after having that purchase that i forgot the change. this is a reason why I eat more vegetables now.

So true the cashier should have given you your change right away then no one would have had to have waited in line while the drawer of cash was counted.

Hello @Marcyaz It was annoying actually, they think I was playing tricks on them. I didn't even get a single apology from what they did. so much for hospitality.

@Letranknight2015 No-one ever likes to lose money. It's too hard to get in the first place.

Ahh I do blame it on the cashier and am glad you got your chance back. I understand cashiers making mistakes though I am sure I would make too many of them if I was a cashier.

Hello @shaggin I can't believe he didn't apologize after the trouble he caused. He just stood there stiff while he handles other customers.

That should have been the Cashier's responsibility to call your attention. Anyway, glad you got your change.
