Jerry Crasnick reports the news from Philadelphia Pennsylvania the Chicago Cubs have placed outfielder Jorge Soler, 24, on the 15 day disabled list with a strain of his left hamstring. Soler injured his left hamstring on Monday during the Cubs 6-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. It is doubtful that Soler will be able to return to the starting lineup of the Cubs when he is eligible to come off the disabled list when is eligible since the Cubs are not willing to rush Soler back from a hamstring injury too soon. Soler will be replaced in the Cubs 25 man active roster by outfielder Alberto Almora. 22, who was playing baseball for the Iowa Cubs which is the AAA minor league team of the Chicago Cubs. Even though Almora will be with the Chicago Cubs in Philadelphia on Tuesday, the Cubs will be starting outfielder Kris Bryant to replace Soler in their outfield on Tuesday.

I guess LaStella will take over 3rd while Bryant moves to the outfield. Of course Mr. Play Every Position Zobrist can be moved around.
