Are Some People Really That Evil?

I read a comment on another site that just floored me. The subject was abortion and there was the usual lies about "cluster of cells". The comment was on how the person would get ice cream after the abortion to celebrate her freedom. Others chimed in with jokes about having an abortion party.
Whether you are pro-life or pro-abortion, this is the death of a human being that is being taken so lightly. I get that abortion is legal but to take such a callous attitude is both appalling and disgusting

I don't think abortion can be justified in any way.actually denying someone a life itself is a big crime and some kind of law should come into effect banning abortions all over the world. Many people have gone for abortion after committing sins of some kind which is really bad as they will be doing major crime in going for abortion. Once committed into something like this, one should not repent and agree to give birth at any cost

Mankind has very little respect for life these days, whether it is the unborn or the born. WW2 killed over 50 million people.

@irishidid That really is a most disturbing attitude and trivialises the whole issue. I imagine most women who have abortions are deeply offended at the prospect of celebration at such a time.

I go both ways. I agree with them happening but also with them not happening. Now with that being said let me explain.
I agree to me it is killing another life. It should not happen. You done the deed and you should have to have the child no matter what. There are so many people that are not able to have children and would love to give that child a great home.
I do think that there should be some cases that you are able to get one. The only way is if you were raped. If you were raped then it could be that it would be more harm on you if you had the child but also if you were raped by a family member it could cause harm on the child.
But I think that everyone that wants to have one done should have to go in front of a judge and plead their case in front of him and a jury in order to have one done. Then you go to the doctor with a statement or something from the judge to get It done. If you did not want the child then you should not have laid down and had the fun now it is time for you to pay the price.

I understand where you are coming from and I once thought that way but I no longer do. I think there is more than one way to consider the rape and incest abortion-whether or not it is the best option for the woman.

@Jdaw1985 Although it is highly unlikely, there is that rare chance but I would still give the child the choice if they are mature enough to understand the implications. To just thrust an abortion on a child without them having a concept of what's going on could be just as traumatic.

@irishidid Well now when I was thinking rape I was mainly thinking of children being raped. If a 8 year old is raped and gets pregnant then they should not have to go through that. It is bad enough that they had to go through getting raped.
