Hate the Automatic Update to Windows 10

I was perfectly content with my Windows 8.1 and whenever a window popped up asking me to upgrade to Windows 10 I always declined. Recently, when I turned on my laptop and loaded windows it automatically started upgrading my computer to Windows 10 as part of the automatic update that Microsoft did. As a result of this upgrade often times my screen keeps flickering in and out and not just once but many, many times in a row. It is very annoying. Does anyone else experience this issue? Were you able to get it fixed, and if yes, what did you do?

How can they upgrade to Windows 10 when you don't accept it?

Because Microsoft made it part of the automatic update and if your settings are set to automatic update it will automatically do it without asking you.

If your computer update settings are not set to automatic update you are ok. I think it is only those whose settings are set to automatic update have the Windows 10 installed on their PCs.

It happens to me all the time I use the computer... Sometime the flickering in and out takes a while before it stops and it is very annoying and frustrating especially when I am doing something important at that exact moment that it starts flickering. Makes me want to smash my computer... There has to be a way to get rid of this issue and for good!

I tried using a Mac and wasn't a fan. I prefer Windows and PCs.
