Walking around a park after the rain is one of the most soul satisfying experiences for me. A carpet of flowers, a clear blue sky, a gentle cool breeze blowing after a harsh summer... I couldn't ask for more. The monsoon showers have been a great blessing to us. The weather has become pleasant and the trees and plants are looking fresh and green with the dust of the summer washed off. The lilies in my garden too have finally come alive .. the containers are ablaze with colors. There are blooms all around. I wish I could be a bee drinking all the nectar and enjoying the beauty of the flowers. Nature is always so kind to us even when we do not show her any regard. Do you enjoy being in a garden or park?

Lucky you! The summer here is killing it so we are desperately waiting for the Rain. Dark clouds took over the entire sky today and it seemed like it's going to rain but at last it didn't !

I do enjoy being in gardens and parks when it's not too hot outside. Right now I wouldn't go to either because it's very hot here.

@LovingMyBabies I hate stepping out in hot weather too. You really cannot enjoy the natural beauty in hot weather like you seem to have right now.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Hope you had fun.. I am sure the kids loved their time in the park. Did they feed the ducks?

@BACONSTRIPSXXX All that matters is that they have fun, which they did. Soccer sounds like a lot of fun too... Cheetos and juice is the all time favorite of kids everywhere I guess.

That appears to be a lovely field of wild flowers.

@JohnRoberts Yeah it is .. we call them football field lilies. When the rain water stagnates in football/soccer grounds we see these bulbs blooming.

I love walking in the park than walking in the mall. I have always loved plants, flowers and trees and would love to be with them as much as I could. The flowers in your photo are so lovely!

@salonga We should have been sisters LOL . I don't know when last I stepped into a mall. I would rather be with the plants and trees too. Thank you, those little lilies look lovely indeed.

That is a really beautiful picture. I love to walk in the park when it's not hot or rainy. It's best to do it very early in the morning or late afternoon.

@sofssu When you're outside, it's important that the weather is good. Can't really enjoy yourself when it's hot or when it's wet.

i would love that but then, the climate here is so unpredictable, and rains may come any moment. the park is also 3 kms away from home, so i can just settle in our own garden.

@ridingbet When the rainy season comes it rains anytime. 3 km is way to far for a rainy day trek I agree,
