I'm back - but I needed a break

No, I'm not home yet but my holiday is drawing to a close and I'm at the airport in Madeira taking advantage of the free Wifi. I haven't posted the past few days because I didn't think it would be fair to post if I wasn't prepared to sit and read, like and comment on lots of other posts and I honestly just needed a break from all of that. It's not to say that I don't enjoy it - I do, of course or I wouldn't do it at all - but I didn't want to spend so much time ignoring my husband by playing with you folks instead of spending my holiday time with him.
It's the first significant break I've taken since I joined last autumn and I must admit I did spend a lot of time thinking 'must post that on myLot' but I resisted.
So not it's a 4 hour trip back to the UK, then a drive to our friends for dinner and another hour and a half to get home to the cats and to see what state the garden is in. Something tells me tomorrow will be weeding day.
What did I miss whilst I was gone?

probably a good bit of chit chat but people have to have real life I know. glad to see you. I am finding where people posted months back and I didn't see it. so I guess we all play catch up at times

I totally understand that and have a very causal attitude too to being on- I do love it but you have to have the time and the opportunity as well.

@boiboing the important thing is that you had a great holiday and get home safe and sound. I can say that life at myLot seems to be going on just as usual and that is a good thing. Looking forward to your first post and vacation pics.
