Thanks to IPL, new players are already trained and experienced to take on international teams.
KL Rahul scored a century in first ODI vs Zimbabwe. He smashed a six to get the winning runs and also century on debut.
Wow what a feeling century on debut, dream start for any player!!

Dear Vijayji, it is good India got new talents. Rahul has to improve his wicket keeping. He is a very good batsman.

@vijay_2016 He will surely find place in Tests, but in ODI, he will have competetion from Dhawan and Rahane and both cannot be replaced as of now.

Yes his catching was also not that good .at least in test matches an opening batsman and a good keeper will be an added advantage to the team . Hope he will improve his keeping abilities

Yes even the bowling department is benefitted by IPL, bowlers like bumrah are are brought into LimeLight because of IPL .

@shshiju yes he was that too he could impress people coming from a star studded RCB team having batsman like Virat Kohli a b de Villiers and Chris Gayle

No he is an opening batsman and he has scored hundred runs in the first ODI match that he played he has also scored a test century in the first match he played

Yes he played well in the IPL also . He is talented. But right now I don't think there is a chance for opening position in the main team once we have Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan . And yes it is always good to have good bench strength. Rahul has grab the opportunity given to him with both the hands in the second one day also he scored a decent 33 runs

@vijay_2016 Thanks Vijayji, I feel the Zimbabwe tour is not a reading example. India will be tested before good teams.
