Carjacking In My City

Not too long ago, I wrote about how some carjackers in my city decided to pick on the wrong guy. When they carjacked him at gunpoint, he pulled his own gun and a gun battle broke out. The victim was shot in the leg but he seriously injured the carjacker and made him crash the car. The carjacker's buddies then rushed him to the hospital - where one of them was captured too. This week the carjacker died of his injuries and his accomplice has now been charged with his death. It's a little known fact that if someone you're working with in commission of a crime dies here in America, the other criminal(s) are charged with murder. Carjacking is rampant here in my city and I hope this story gets around to serve as a lesson to others who would follow in these criminal's footsteps!

@Lolaze - Ms Lola - I once owned and operated a 1938 Studebaker 4-door. Its transmission and associated clutch were in such bad shape that I could leave the car motor running and leave it for a few minutes because no one else would ever understand how to get the thing into gear so as to make the car move either forward or backward.

@Lolaze - Ms Lola - The thing that I liked the least about that old Studebaker was that it looked like a squat, gray beetle bug. Next worse was the "Hill-Holder" on the clutch. that was to keep the car from rolling backwards if you stopped the car while driving up a hill. Sometimes, the Hill-Holder did not want to let go after you took your foot off of the clutch.

hmmm I wonder if the victim was carrying a legally concealed weapon?

They've not said he was charged with anything so I'm assuming so.
