Last week my husband and I took out boys to the bank to empty out our snowman. Each of our kids have $2 in pennies wrapped up. My mom gave it to them. I told my husband let's take it to the bank and put it into their account. We end up all together having $24.54 in change. That is a lot change from te cash I get paid for babysitting. Some change was outside that people drop and lose. So make sure you keep your hanger and collect it up to bring to the bank later or for a rainy day.

We have jar that we put change in. Well, at least I do. My husband will generally leave it on his bedside table. I then collect it so the kids (especially my little guy) doesn't get a hold of it. We should bring it to the bank for a rainy day. I'm curious to know how much we have.

My husband leaves change all over the house. I find in the sofa, in his clothes, on his night stand. I normally when cleaning collect it and through it in the change jar. Some times he'll take it straight out of his pocket and put in the change jar if he has to much change.

@ShyBear88 mine doesn't usually leave it everywhere thankfully. It'll take it out of his wallet or pockets and put it on his bedside table.

@dodo19 My husbands change will fall out of his pockets a lot so that is why I find it all over the house or the kids will find change and put it some where.

Wow! It can really add up overtime. It's a good practice for your kids too.

oh yes it is good practice. They put there money in there piggy banks and they let the money add up in there for now. Some times we put some in to the bank when its check.

I have a jar that counts the change every time I put it in. It adds up fairly quickly too!

Whenever I clean my son's room, I get so rich from all the change I find in there and he does not bother to use...
