Hot Days Then Snow?

Last week we had three days of 90º F (32º C) and now the weatherman is talking snow? Actually not here where I live, but up in the mountains. Still, if it is 90º here it would be way to warm to snow in the mountains. But after those hot days it has cool way down here. Right now it’s 56º F (13º C), windy and pouring down rain with thunder and lightning.
We can use the snow in the mountains, but I’m sure it wasn’t much. There was some concern about the snow melting so fast. We had received nearly the normal snowpack but with the hot temperatures it had melted faster than normal.
It is forecasted to stay in the 60º F (16º C to 21º C) range all week. Sunday is supposed to warm up to 72º F (22º C).

Snow at this time of year? We have had overcast mornings lately and it'd warm up by noon. Yesterday it got a tad on the chilly side for a while. But not today - the sun showed itself early on - which means we're gonna be hot from now on. I saw that we would be in the 90s all week - possibly near 100.

The night before last night there was a freeze warning. On the news they said it got down to 28º in some places. It didn't get that cold here where I live, though. The average high temperature here at this time of the year is about 75º. It's quite strange to go from running the A/C to preparing for near freezing temperatures.

@RichardMeister Yah, that is crazy! This up and down business in temps is quite strange. I think our high today is supposed to be 88 . . . 90/100 over the weekend . . . and in the 90s next week. Luckily we haven't had to run the AC at all yet.

@much2say Next week is supposed to be in the high 70s and low 80s which is above average for this time of the year. We're supposed to be in the mid-70s. I ran my A/C on the 3 hot days we had.

The weather is crazy everywhere. Very hot here in the mountains for this time of year - 80s and 90s mostly. But I like it.

For tonight they have a freeze warning. This is mainly for those who have gardens with sensitive plants. If it actually reaches freezing it will be barely freezing but still cold enough to kill plants if they are not covered.

It's warm here during day time. Then, it becomes windy in the late afternoon. Usually, we do have rain showers at night.
