She carried all the cake she could not eat.
I did not taste it as I started the diet before the colonoscopy.
I had to open the oven 4 times to show her that the cake wasn´t ready yet. She smelled it and said to me that she thought that NOW it was done. I explained to her how to check it, but she would not accept any reason.
Finally the cake was done and we brought it to the table. It smelled like heaven and I was sad that I could not have a single bite.
I invited Sofía to bake cupcakes when I had the colonoscopy behind me. Then I will eat at least 3

I doubt I would be able to resist it myself if it had been me.

Afterwards you'll be able to partake in whatever sweets you want again?

Baking a cake and not being able to eat any of it would be torture for me.

Oh man that has got to be hard! I'm sorry that you couldn't even get a bite.

Cooking with a 5 year old is so tiring that I just wanted them to go and have a cup of tea (I don´t dare drink coffee) alone.

Oh, I hope your granddaughter thinks of sharing the cake with you too. Maybe the cake was very delicious that she got so engrossed on it.
