To Tell The Truth

Do any of you remember this old TV show? It's been reincarnated a few times through the years, and it began again tonight. And I'm SO glad! As a child in the 50s, I remember watching this with my parents. We had so much fun trying to guess who the real person was. None of us was very good. Dad would try his best analytical talents to figure it out, and most times he was wrong. Mom went mostly on intuition, but she didn't do too well either. And, of course, as a kid, I just guessed. They would laugh like crazy when I'd get it right. I thought it was wonderful when they brought Betty White back onto the show. She used to be on the original show way back when (as she was on most game shows). She's so funny and quick. I love her to bits! If you've never seen this show, what happens is that three people claim to be someone with a specific talent or job. The celebrities ask them questions and try to figure out who's telling the truth (the other two are, obviously, lying). After their questions, the celebs pick who they think is the one telling the truth and then the real person stands up. It really is a lot of fun...well, for me, anyway! There are some game shows that I just love and this is one of them. Let me say that some of these "liars" are incredibly good! -Claudia- image from pixabay
