Suggestion!

Beautiful Cherry Estate

To implement a criteria of efficient writing, without changing the rules with regards to the limit or Unlimited amount of characters, it should be required that a post have the following . . . . at least: A few capital letters, one noun, one verb, one adjective or adverb, two punctuation marks that actually mean something and make sense, as well as the reference about the photo or picture used! Don't you think that would be fair? Leave your calling card while I am playing Lawn Bowls tomorrow. We have a wonderful long week-end. My photo is of a sunrise over a Cherry Estate in the Maluti Miuntains, Clarens.

@inlemay Are semi-colons mandatory? I do so love them - just wish I knew how to use them correctly. That photo could be Ireland.

Semi-colons are kind of a super comma. At least that's what my grammar crazy friends told me...

I love semi-colons; they can help when people need to use more than one statement

The region where it was taken is very green like Ireland, almost like the Tipperary region

I do like it when people mention the picture. I should perhaps add a paragraph to my magnet photo to explain some of them that don't have a state or country written on them. Although I would think a Kangaroo would be self explanatory, my moose is from Canada and that could use some clarification.

Those that I am encouraging to write a little more, have yet to learn what the full force of grammatical use is.

@Inlemay So you are expecting to persuade people to write a full sentence? That definitely seems ambitious.

You should also specify that a capital letter has to be put at the beginning of a word, not in the middle. I usually never do it, but I sent yesterday a one liner using text speak and no punctuation to the guidelines. I am not a native English speaker, and text speak is often difficult to understand for me... Apparently this masterpiece of discussion has been deleted.

You are preaching to the converted as far as I'm concerned. And I don't like posts consisting solely of a question without giving their take on it. Sheesh. Good luck with the bowls, and your photo is beautiful.

I write when I have time and when I rest and now my break is quite long since operated a few weeks ago and now I'm home and I'll write here. I think everything is wrong with writing there are long and short diskusiy this is completely normal.

A noun and a verb are mandatory. As in: "I will." In this case the pronoun acts as the noun. Also, a capital letter per sentence is important, but not more than one unless you are naming a person, place or specific thing. I realize that I don't always include certain things, but... well... I did not major in English for a very good reason!
