That was a neat little discovery

For those of you following my current struggles, today went ok. Had a couple less than great spots, but went ok over all I think. I can't do much about the not ok parts, so just going to go with the fact that it was an ok day, and do my best to ignore the other parts. Going to move on to something else, as yes, I am avoiding the ick for now. I need a mental break. Anyone who uses Steam (online platform to get pc games, with no need for disks and such), they have a table top simulator. This has allowed people to create games for people to play together online, things like Monopoly, or Zombies, or Cards Against Humanity. I played a game last night with hubby, his best friend, and another friend of his. (I know, no real friends of mine per say, but it was something somewhat social). I like the idea of being able to play board games with people who can't be here. I do have some friends in Missouri, maybe later I can get them to get something like this. I am on the other hand, not ready to go back to work tomorrow, but, it is what it is, I just gotta do it.

@Jessicalynnt I remember a game called scattergories. You can get it from iTunes:
Read reviews, compare customer ratings, see screenshots, and learn more about Scattergories - The official fast-thinking game of categories. Download Scattergories - The official fast-thinking game of categories and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod

lol, in simple steam is an Elibrary for games. I buy a game there and no matter how many times I replace my pc, I can redownload the game.

@lookatdesktop some go on sale, some are cheaper. I like the fact that it's a library. So if I get a new pc, I dont have to rebuy a thing! Just redownload it

Never heard of Steam. I'll have to check it out. Been pretty busy myself with the move being so close. AHHHH. Going just a little bit crazy. Remember, you always have friends here. We may not be close, but we are here Jessa. Big hugs to you lady.

I actually feel good after playing a game as long as I know when to quit.

@Jessicalynnt Yep I've noticed every game has a different affect. I've not played that many actually but some are relaxing while others can be stressful for example.

I gave myself a headache playing one too long with hubby, but the table top simulator one doesn't bother me, no moving graphics

Good days and bad days tend to run together for me, Jess. As long as the good days outnumber the bad ones, I figure I have a net win on my hands! God luck to you!

@Jessicalynnt That can work, too... Keep the good moments in focus and do your best to ignore the bad moments. They have little room in our lives.... Most turn out to be inconsequential in the long run.

I may move from looking at good or bad days, and focus on good or bad moments, and try to pay more attention to the good moments

I don't like playing games. But today I downloaded 2 games on my cell phone. I am a kind of person that would usually download an application or a game then immediately uninstall it because I find it boring or an interesting. But the one I have downloaded a while ago is interesting for me. It is a very easy game which is the best part and and of course enjoyable for me. I have tried playing games that are very popular today like strategy games but I don't understand how they are played and I have given up on them.

Sorry, we are not connected, so I don't know what is going on, but I pray it is over soon. As for the board games, you create these using steam? My son put steam on the computer for his gaming, but I would love to be able to play a board game since most of ours got destroyed.

@Jessicalynnt Can you explain how I can check what games are there? Like I said, my son downloaded stream, I have not used it at all, but with some tips from you, I might be able to figure it out.

@Carmelanirel2 Stean has a pretty good for search function. Some things organized by genre type. Some are organized by if they cost or if they are free to play. A lot of the costs are fairly low. I recently bought myself chip challenge, which was cheap because it is an older simple puzzle Style game.

It's basically place where one can get game at, and once bought through there, they can be downloaded and installed on any number of pcs, and used when you are logged into your account, so like an E library, and if the computer is replaced one can reinstall without having to rebuy

I always wondered if there was a way to play Upwords with my best friend in another state. I have heard of Steam but would have no idea where to start. We are both Upwords deprived. I hope your day goes well today even with back to work.
