That is the last time that I will trust Arthur to look after Manchester.

On Tuesday 7th June I flew away to Turkey for a short holiday, leaving Manchester in the capable hands of Arthur Chappell. At the time the Sun was shining and the temperature was quite warm here. Just one short week later I flew home, arriving at Manchester shortly before midnight on Tuesday evening. The ground was wet, signifying that it had recently rained. Yesterday started out fairly overcast and cold, which turned into quite heavy rain by early afternoon. Now today we have yet another miserable dark sky and portending rain. The city was enjoying great weather when I handed it over, but within a week it has deteriorated vastly. Clearly Arthur has done an atrocious job in my absence and can no longer be trusted as custodian.

@arthurchappell They are not to be trusted. Nobody likes them so they have to lie in order to persuade people to trust them, but they never get trusted a second time.

Do you not think that they have control over Manchester enough as it is?

Yes, that is the guilty person. He lives in Manchester, so I expected him to keep the Sun safe until I returned. Sadly he seems to have failed miserably.

You cannot turn your eyes that Arthur makes a mess. Welcome back home, we have exactly the same weather.

Has Arthur been over to Switzerland then, or did you neglect the weather yourself?

@Asylum May be Arthur came anonymously to take care of his "hidden" Swiss account. I did my best, but you can nothing against the powerful.

@LadyDuck Of course, I had forgotten that he keeps his vast wealth in a Swiss account to hide it from the UK taxman.

Very true. I dread to think what would happen if I went away for a month.

It certainly does, so it may be prudent to leave Wordazza to protect the city next time.

I think he must have been in charge in my area too - we've had heavy rain and thunderstorms these last few days.

Absolutely and it has been like that since you left. We were hoping you would bring the sun back with you but you failed to do that. There is only one thing to do about it now and that is send all the rain up to Manchester!

It is already here, as is usual. For once I chose not to bring any Sun back because I expected the the one that I left here to still be around.

Huh, maybe he's the one responsible for the dreary days we're having now in Michigan too, perhaps? The first of the week was great, but yesterday it rained in the morning and today it was supposed to be done already, but must have forgotten. A smidgen of rain is circling around our area and won't quit. The rest of the week will be nicer though and hopefully warmer too.

Cute. Was he ever any good at taking care of the place? Maybe it takes two to hold off the crummy weather. By the way, June? You have cold miserable weather in June? Is this common?
