No Internet Connection

I'm very upset! That's an understatement. I was watching a little bit of Netflix last night before I went to bed and allowed my grandson to use my computer. Suddenly halfway through the episode I was watching the Internet connection went out and my grandson came from my office having finished what he was doing on my computer. I went back to my computer to find no Internet connection. I don't know what he did, and went to talk to my son who's the genius when it comes to fixing the Internet. He was asleep so I went to bed. The Internet was working this morning when I got up, but not my phone. Upset - yes, understatement. I asked my grandson what he did, he said he didn't do anything. I HATE people lie to me. He was lying. I told him he wasn't going near my computer again. I tried to figure out what was wrong that the phone wasn't working. I unplugged cords, plugged them back in, and then my grandson nonchalantly walks in and says his father said I should call AT&T. I couldn't find the number so I went online and found the troubleshooting page. After determining what was working and what wasn't, I finally got the diagram on what I needed to do next, and now the phone is working. My grandson had left for a bit and when he came home he asked if the phone was working and asked if he could use it. I told him NO, he wasn't going near my computer or the phone again. Upset doesn't cover what I'm feeling at the moment. However, I'm glad I finally got it figured out and everything is working again. How's your day going? I really hope it's better than mine.
