My Thursday Away

On Thursday I took another day trip to Jackson and then on to Spirit Lake, Iowa. While in Jackson we stopped and had some lunch and visited an outdoor market. In Spirit Lake we went to the ReNez store which sells donated building materals amongst other things for their organization. We then went on to a store I wanted to go to and I found a few things there. On the way back we noticed this really nice ranch style house that looked empty but it had a lot of outbuildings that were in pretty bad shape. One of those buildings really caught our eye because of the roof of course I had to take a picture of it.

Good to read that you had a good outing. Nice picture but looks like not occupied for a while. Also, the tall grass may not be safe if there are snakes around but I could well be wrong - siva

Doesn't seem to have been occupied for some time. I won't walk out in tall grass like that.

@teep11 Very peaceful way out in the country and yes I did enjoy the trip. No plans for the weekend will probably just stay home and rest up some.

So you think this building is abandoned or in use and just run down.

@JohnRoberts Since the house is empty I would say the building is abandoned as are the other buildings on the property.
