So...our friend that I told all of you about-Sabrina is finally done with her abusive husband-we think anyway. He put his hands on her, tried not letting her leave, broke their bedroom door, knocked her on the floor and ripped the handle off her purse!
They got into a fight over our trip to NC that we are taking. I am feeling really bad that it was about us going on the trip together. =( I told her I felt guilty since it was about that and she told me not to because it could have happened over anything.
So for tonight at least her and the kids are staying at our house. We love them to pieces and I am really glad their safe. You never know what will happen from one day to the next though so we will see what happens...

@Babs0630 So far she is sticking with leaving for good-we will see though. When he put his hands on her she said that was the last straw.

@Marcyaz Yeah I think it was the last straw since he put his hands on her. She is bruised in a few places from him. I think she is done for real this time but time will tell.

@LovingMyBabies I hope your friend does the right thing and stays away from her husband. A few years ago when I helped my friend out she went right back to him the very same day. My kids and I moved all of her stuff into storage and set her up here at the house..... Worked all day in the rain and had to deal with her crazy bf and the cops for her to turn around and go right back to him the exact same night.

Hope she can get away from that abusive husband (or how's that?) It is good you took care of them but be careful also of what he might do when he shows up.

She really needs to be in a place where he will not know where she is at for her and your safety too as he could watch the house and come when your husband is not there. And the "safe houses" will also have resources and councilors to help your friend
