The Moose is the biggest member of the Deer family and, one of the biggest animals in the world, standing up to about 8 feet at the shoulder and, about 10 foot counting it's antlers, they can also weigh around 2,000 pounds. Moose love to eat Willow and, Birch branches. They have very few predators and, the ones they do, they are more than capable of killing or fending off, the only predator they really have to worry about is the Tiger, because it has the advantage of jumping on their backs and, is just more agile, they do often kill Wolves or Bear though. Moose are also sometimes killed by Killer Whales when swimming. Moose also make a loud roar when threatened, they are found mostly in Alaska and, Canada, but there are other places, one of which is Russia and, that's where they have to deal with Tigers.

I've never seen a moose up close but have seen lions grab hold of a moose on television. A sight to see but a moose can hold its own.

@TRBRocks420 I'd love to see a moose. I've only ever seen one in a museum but that was just a stuffed one. And yeah was very tall!

We saw moose in a zoo in Innsbruck. They look a bit like they've been designed by a committee too. There is a saying that camels were designed by a committee who were really trying to create a horse.

Yes, they can puncture one with their horns, kick them or stomp on them. Moose can kick forward, backward or to the side.

I do hope you and Rooger never encounter a moose on your walks! A mighty animal for sure. I did not know that killer whales go after moose.
